Data deletion
This page describes two ways to fully delete data tied to your account on the hiregora platform (the WhatsApp Business API product at /whatsapp).
Option 1. From the dashboard
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Account → Delete account. Confirm by entering your email. The platform immediately revokes WhatsApp Cloud API tokens, detaches the WABA from your Business Portfolio, and marks all data for deletion. Hard deletion completes within 30 days.
Option 2. By email request
If you've lost access to the dashboard — send an email to hi@hiregora.com with the subject WhatsApp data deletion request. In the body include:
- Your WABA ID or WhatsApp Business phone number connected to the platform
- The email address the account is registered to
- Confirmation that you are the account owner
Request acknowledgement is sent within 72 hours. Deletion is completed within 30 days. A final confirmation email is sent on completion.
What gets deleted
- Account, profile, session tokens
- WABA configuration, Phone Number ID bindings
- Message history (outbound and inbound)
- Media attachments from S3 storage
- Templates and their Meta-side moderation statuses (Meta-side templates are managed via your WABA)
- Audit logs of actions, delivery statuses
What is retained
Only anonymised invoices for paid subscription — kept per the Georgian tax code (5 years). They contain no message content and no PII of end recipients.
